An experiential learning program on human flourishing

for participants to encounter nature & people through awe, surprise, and beauty.

WONDER is an experiential learning program that provides adventures for people in beautiful settings and encounters with flourishing individuals and communities around the world, incorporating a journey of reflection and growth for the participants.

 

  • WONDER is an encounter with "The Real" in a world that is so viciously fake. It reminded me who we all are in God's eyes, and it set me on fire.

  • I learned how to appreciate God’s creation and sit in silence, which is something I rarely have the opportunity to do as a student.

  • It was really great to not be on our phones for the week. In retrospect, it greatly contributed to my ability to be present with the people and experiences around me.

  • WONDER was a great bonding experience for all of us. Being vulnerable with one another is what allowed us to develop deeper connections, and I am so thankful that we had that opportunity before the start of the school year.

  • The quiet moments I got to have were invaluable to me.

  • I was able to challenge myself in ways I could not have prepared for.

  • I found that the friendships I made on this trip to have been what I valued the most [...] only in a few days I developed the trust and intimacy with them that normally takes years to develop.

  • The most meaningful aspect of my experience was the ability to develop confidence and pride in my body.[...]By allowing me to exist as myself without worrying about how I looked, what I was wearing, and how other people would perceive me, I was able to appreciate my body for allowing me to join this wonderful experience. My body became the source of joy, not anxiety, fear, or hatred.
